Workshops and Training
We offer workshops for both individuals and organizations. Our team of therapists have conducted thorough research to develop manuals and resources for workshops on a diverse range of topics. Our workshops are 60 to 90 minutes long focusing on psychoeducation as well as teaching techniques relevant to the topic. We also conduct online group challenges that you can sign up for.
Along with the facility of both in-person and virtual workshops, as per the client’s convenience, we also ensure an interactive environment to encourage experiential learning through activities. Additionally, we provide resources and handouts that can be utilized outside of the workshop.
Apart from our workshops geared towards individuals, we also offer organization wide training. Our team works with organizations to tailor our existing workshops or develop new training, focusing on the goals and needs of their employees or students.

EMPATHY BUILDING & HELPING SKILLS
This is a comprehensive workshop on helping employees understand their wellbeing in the context of the workplace. Employees will learn how to navigate personal and work-related stressors through effective coping mechanisms.
MENTAL WELL-BEING FOR EMPLOYEES
If you wish to create strong relationships within the organization or to enhance communication between management and employees, this is the workshop for you. Learn the meaning of empathy, skills that can be used to develop a culture of understanding and highlight aspects that will allow you to connect with others with a holistic lens.
STRESS & ANXIETY MANAGEMENT
Each individual is vulnerable to stress and anxiety, yet we sometimes struggle to use it as our strength. This workshop can be tailored to any age group and setting, focusing on relevant manifestations and management of stress. Learn to set boundaries and lead a healthier life.
RELATIONSHIPS & COMMUNICATION
This workshop addresses different relationship concerns ranging from marital relationships to parent-child relationships. The focus is on understanding the relational dynamic and developing effective communication for healthier relationships with your partner, parent or friends.
BEHAVIORAL MODIFICATION
Do you ever feel like replacing unproductive behaviors with more productive ones? Or as a parent, have you ever been curious about how to change your child's undesirable behavior with one that is better for them? Learn about how we acquire behaviors and techniques on how we can systematically change them.
SENSITIVITY TRAINING
This workshop is geared towards creating awareness regarding actions or attitudes that might be discriminatory or offensive. This training is usually geared towards sexual harassment and gender discrimination within an organization. Through this workshop, we hope to partner with our clients to create safer and more accepting work environments across Pakistan.
Psychological First Aid in the aftermath of a Traumatic Event
Traumatic events like earthquakes, floods, acts of terrorism or a global pandemic can have a long lasting impact on our psychological well-being. It is important to acknowledge that while the event might have passed, our minds and bodies might still be in survival mode, and we might still be operating from a place of stress and anxiety. Such events not only impact our mood but can also cause lower productivity, social isolation, and physical health. This workshop was first developed in the aftermath of Covid-19 and was conducted to equip social workers in Swat to provide psychological first aid to students impacted by the pandemic. Observing the positive impact of this training, we have tailored it so that it can be applied in the context of any traumatic event that may leave a collective impact on a group. Through this training, your team will learn how to identify signs of trauma, develop a skill set to conduct first-responder listening and most importantly learn how to form a trauma informed system at your organization to promote mental well-being in general.
Befriend Your Anxiety – Build Your Own Toolkit
This is a unique course developed for individuals who are struggling with anxiety but are deterred from seeking therapy either due to lack of resources or social stigma. A quick google search on anxiety often leads to a cookie cutter approach to anxiety that does not actually work for everyone. While this course is not a replacement or alternative to psychotherapy, it is ideal if you would like to learn about your anxiety and master some tools that actually work for YOU. By the end of this course – you will know your anxiety better instead of being scared of it, you will develop a toolkit of research backed psychotherapeutic techniques that cater to your unique anxiety and, it will help you to come one step closer to your healing journey. At the end of this course, reflective exercises will also give you an answer on whether you want to seek professional help and if yes, how to go about it. So, if you’re struggling to start your mental health journey with anxiety – this is for you!
Trauma Healing Workshop with Yoga
Although there is no quick fix for trauma, this workshop will equip you to begin your healing journey with tools used in psychotherapy. Did you know: trauma and anxiety take a toll on our body - making physical activity a key part of the healing journey! This workshop is a two in one experience: giving you therapeutic tools guided by our internationally trained therapist along with a yoga session focused on breathwork moderated by a yoga expert. Delve deep into how trauma impacts our bodies and learn grounding techniques that you can use in your everyday life to work towards healing. Learn some practical tools to regulate yourself or a loved one during anxiety attacks or trauma symptoms. More importantly, you will get a template to build mind-body awareness around trauma and anxiety. This workshop is not a replacement or an alternative to psychotherapy. Instead, it is meant to facilitate you in beginning your healing journey through the basic step of building mind-body awareness.
Mental Health First Aid
Mental health first aid is a course to help individuals gain the knowledge and skill set to be able to spot people experiencing mental health concerns, building a capacity for people to make conversation with affected people and helping them access the appropriate supports within their settings. Helping people find support within their communities and organizations that they may be a part of can sometimes help someone embark on a journey to improve their mental health and lead a healthier life overall. In the context of Pakistan, this could also mean helping them become aware enough to seek that support themselves since signposting to agencies may not be a possibility and for a lot of people may not be beneficial to share with their immediate family systems due to the taboo around mental health.
Parenting Aint Easy
Parenting is not an easy job, in fact often times it can be overwhelming as well. But with the right tools, one can learn to keep their calm with their children and also nourish them. This workshop is designed for caregivers who wish to become more present and mindful with their children. You will also learn actionable strategies to emotionally regulate yourself and manage conflicts with your child instead of getting stuck in power struggles with them. So let’s work on becoming confident and reassured parents!
