Client Privacy Policy

Ethical practices and confidentiality are of utmost priority for everyone here at Zaaviyah. Anything shared with your therapist during a phone consultation or therapy session will remain between your therapist and you. We understand the sensitivity of the information that you are trusting us with, and we guarantee that we value your privacy. Even during case consultations between therapists, we ensure that we do not disclose any identifying information even with each other within the organization.

According to universal ethical practices, the only time your therapist is mandated to break confidentiality is under the following conditions:

  1. You are actively planning on harming yourself or someone else 
  2. Abuse of a minor or elderly person is involved
