Advocacy and Awareness

Keeping in line with our motto “Focused on You,” we firmly believe that the first step to normalizing mental health concerns is to create awareness. We aim to destigmatize mental illnesses and therapy through awareness workshops and informative social media campaigning.

Ask a Therapist

“Ask a Therapist” is an initiative started by Zaaviyah that allows our instagram family to connect with our therapists on a weekly basis and directly ask our therapists any questions!

Khudi - Women's Support Group

Given the collective trauma that many Pakistani Women experience, we came together to give women a safe space to grieve and process their feelings.

Virtual Art Show

Zaaviyah hosted a virtual art show to give people a chance to channelise their emotions into any form of art including drawing, painting, animations, writing and poetry!

Raabta - Ao Baat Kerein

Raabta was a support group series providing a safe space for individuals to share, listen and heal. Each cycle of Raabta gathered together individuals struggling with a particular concern and gave them an opportunity to connect with and learn from others in a non-judgmental environment.

Qissay Kahaniyan - Open-Mic Night

Zaaviyah hosted an open-mic night to give people a chance to talk about topics related to mental health and their own experiences. Some people chose to sing for us while some decided to channelise their feelings and experiences through stand up comedy!

Start them young workshop

Our therapists engaged with pre-school children at TNS and taught them about the harmful effects of excessive screen time. Through a fun, interactive session, children learnt about alternative forms of stimulation such as family time, board games and outdoor activities.
